This is a snippet of a performance at a fundraiser fashion show at his old high school. He was one of the few people called back to appear and one of two to perform. To an audience of 900-1,000 people, he delivered a 7 minute show and medley of songs, ending with his own original song "Change".
September 12th, 2021
Lennix is seen here performing in a two part show. First, he's opening performing his original, "Right Now". He is performing with William Gandy Jr. on his 'Lashes Grown & Sexy Concert' at the Orpheum Theater. Then he and Gandy teamed up to perform a rendition of "Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)", by The Jacksons. Lennix dances.. holy-.

Here, in this snippet, L is performing at a second fundraising fashion show. Performing a medley of another selection of songs and of course dancing. Ending his performance off with his original song, "Right Now". With 900-1,000 people in attendance, he delivered a 9 minute show with an appearance by his fellow artist, 'TeeMula' to perform his single. TeeMula also recorded this backstage video to the left.
This is a preview of the music video for the single, "10PM Sliding On I-240". Starring Lennix, of course, and features various appearances from his best friend, Makayla. The song was written and recorded, along with the cover in 2022. The video was shot in a span of 3 days and was shot, edited and released in April of 2022. Various places L went to film were in a moving car on the highway, a gas station is Southaven, MS, a hotel parking lot also in Southaven, and in downtown Memphis. The song is single handedly, directly, inspired by J. Cole's "Heaven's EP". On a more laid back, mid-day, almost breezy feeling beat, Lennix raps about life and its direction. He talks about old people in his life; Old friends that he either wished he could help or still talk to. A couple disses but who doesn't. '10PM Sliding...' is a representation that simplicity isn't always bad or corny. This video was made all over Memphis and Southaven, with nothing but a phone and two people. Interesting piece.
As of recently, to the left, the most recent and completed project coming forward is Lennix's first full body of work. Cover is completed. Titled, "Tryna Cherish These Times" is a mixtape composed by Lennix Jones. Showing a picture of a nice sky from inside a car, with also another car photo of a light trails on lamp-posts and taillights exposed over it. And strip photos of his and best friend Makayla's eyes. Which is because she took part of a couple songs on the mixtape, which were also a couple of his favorite. He tells different stories about times in his life where it was rough, and memories he could go back to and relive or recreate, yet, as of right now trying to build himself back up to those standards of mentalities, and self worth.. he's just tryna cherish these times.
